VARN was founded on February 7, 2004 by WA6POT, AD6AC, KC6UMK, K6WIT, W6WCR, KD6IXP, KD6FNB, KD6SMM, KG6SVE, KH7I, AB6BP, AD6DT, KD6FMX and N6TC.

We are committed in helping the community in times of emergency and natural disasters.

We promote friendly network, civil assistance and emergency communications in the coverage area..

We Operate three repeater links that covers a wide area in the Central Valley and the Bay Area.

You could use these frequencies to ask us for help or just a companionship while driving.
